ELITE Helicopter Services

Elite Helicopter Services, Inc. is the name to know when you are interested in becoming a helicopter pilot. Your personal instruction will begin with ground school where you will receive books, supplies, and a complete training manual. The process will then advance to flight instruction where you will get the individual attention you need to become a professional helicopter pilot. Through our flight instruction, you will learn the basic helicopter controls and how to use them, including the cyclic, collective, and tail rotor pedals.

Elite Helicopter uses the Schweizer 300C for all of its primary flight instruction. This versatile, agile, dependable helicopter is one of the safest training helicopters ever produced. The Schweizer 300C has been used all over the world in rolls ranging from flight instruction to crop dusting and police department patrols. The 300C was also used from the 1960's thru the 1980's to train helicopter pilots for United States Military

Discovery Flights

We offer a discovery flight, where you get to actually fly the helicopter! This involves a 10 minute preflight orientation and approximately 20 minutes of actual flight time with a certified flight instructor. YOU WILL ACTUALLY FLY THE AIRCRAFT!! The cost for a Discovery Flight is $135.00, however, we will REFUND your $135.00 with ENROLLEMENT into our flight training program. (Price is per person in the Schweizer 300C, refund requires a 10 hour block payment).

Elite Helicopter’s FAA approved FLYIT simulator can be used for initial training, instrument, recurrency training, additional flight and systems training in multiple helicopter types. Log and apply 7.5 hours of flying time towards your private helicopter, and 20 hours of flying time towards your instrument helicopter rating.

 

 

 

Each passenger UNDER 18 YEARS OLD MUST HAVE A PARENT or guardian sign a Liability waiver. (SOME FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY, WEATHER PERMITTING, WEIGHT LIMITATIONS MAY APPLY, PILOT HAS THE FINAL DECISION FOR THE FLIGHT) Elite Helicopter Services is fully insured.
