Certified flight instructor rotorcraft
The final step that many pilots take to further their carrier is to become a flight instructor. This allows that pilot to build valuable time and pass along the gift of learning how to fly to new students. The FAA sets no minimums for the CFI portion other than the person must have their commercial license. This rating, like the others depends on how quickly the student adapts. During CFI training, the student will switch into the instructors seat and have to talk through all of the maneuvers while flying at commercial level. Also the student will need to become comfortable with touchdown autorotations, it will be a requirement on the practical test.
Prices are estimated according to FAA minimums. Students may require more training if necessary.

Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII)
Once a pilot has obtained their Certified Flight Instructors certificate and their Instrument rating, they can become a CFII. This allows them to teach students the instrument portion of their ratings. To become a CFII a pilot MUST have their CFI and Instrument certificates. The FAA sets no minimums for CFII, the pilot must be able to explain instrument flying, while flying in the instructors seat and flying at instrument standards.
